Welcome to Ambadip
Ambadip resort is located near amba ghat, a bridge between Kokan & Kolhapur. The ghat is situated in the Sahyadri mountain ranges and has a very pleasant climate.
Our resort lies at a height of 2000 ft above sea-level. Located near Shahuwadi, Kolhapur District. It is one of the convenient weekend destination for tourists from Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Goa and many more
How to reach us?
From Mumbai via Pune –
1. Follow the Mumbai Pune Expressway – Lonavla – Pune
2. Continue on the Pune Bypass – drive on the Pune Bangalore Expressway NH4 – cross Satara – Umbraj
3. Taswade Toll Booths
4. Cross Karad – 4 Kms after Karad look for the KOLHAPUR 66 Kms board – keep left
5. Look for the KOLHAPUR 65 Kms board – on Left side you will see a small kms sign board of KALE / PACHWAD
6. Take the diversion on left onto the service road, Do Not drive ahead on the bridge – turn right under the bridge
7. Drive straight and you will pass villages of Ond – Undale – Ghogaon – Windmills on right
8. At Shedgewadi Junction take left – Overhead water bridge 1 – Overhead Water Bridge 2
9. At Kokrud Phata take right – pass Kokrud – Turukwadi Ghat
10. Turn right on the T junction of Malkapur on NH204 towards Ratnagiri
11. Amba Village is 16 Kms from this turn – Pass through Amba village
12. Take a right turn on seeing the Resort Board
13. Drive straight for around 1 KM and you will reach Ambadip Resort
BY TRAIN –
1. Get down at Kolhapur (KOP) on Central Railway Route and take a local taxi for an hour long journey to the resort
2. Get down at Ratnagiri (RN) on Konkan Railway Route and take a local taxi for an hour long journey to the resort
3. The nearest railway station is Adavali (ADVI), approx 35 kms to the resort which is on Konkan Railway route
